SMALL BUSINESS,
BIG IMPACT
YOUR LEADERSHIP AND THE 2026 ELECTIONS
As small business owners, we know that doing business depends on trust. We shine when our customers trust us to consistently deliver quality products and services at fair prices. Meanwhile, we need to trust that our suppliers do the same.
You know where trust also matters? Elections.
Our elections are run by people in our communities who we already know and trust. They’re our neighbors. Maybe they’re even our customers. Voters trust elections when they’re able to participate equally and the outcomes reflect the will of local citizens like you.
In advance of this November’s midterms, the federal government has reduced funding and staff for the programs that protect our elections against interference, made moves to assert authority over election administration duties that states have primary responsibility for, and spread doubt about our country’s ability to hold elections that are free, secure, and fair. These actions are transparent attempts to engineer and falsely challenge the results.
Here’s where you come in
Small business owners are in a perfect position to take a stand for free, fair, and transparent elections. Because you do business in your community, you’ve built trust there. Your neighbors know you. When you share information about how elections in your state work, people listen. When your customers see you or your employees working the polls, they feel reassured that everything is functioning as it should. When you and other businesses on your street team up to make Election Day feel like a block party, everyone wants to participate.
You’re already a leader in your community. You’ve protected your staff, customers, and neighbors in the midst of chaotic federal operations. You’ve spoken out against unlawful tariffs that made everything less affordable for everyone. Ensuring that all eligible voters in your community can exercise their right to pick their leaders is another way you can step up.
Count me in
Do you want to get involved in protecting your elections? Between now and November, Integrity Matters is connecting small business owners with resources and opportunities so you can take the lead.
Attend a training. We’re hosting a series of workshops designed to give small business owners the tools to protect elections in their own communities.
Help make elections happen. We’re excited to share opportunities for you to volunteer at the polls and beyond. We need election workers and poll watchers along with small business owners ready to get people registered to vote, educate your community about how elections work, and provide public support for your local election officials.
