Running a small business takes flexibility, resilience, and the ability to thrive under pressure. Those qualities came in handy for small business owners in Minnesota when thousands of federal agents descended on their communities, abducting employees and terrorizing customers into staying home.
At this community conversation, small business owners from around the country are invited to chat with three small business owners from the Twin Cities area. These business owners will share how they organized in their communities, protected their staff, and served as convening spaces for comprehensive resistance efforts.
This event is geared towards business owners with brick and mortar storefronts, but anyone can participate if interested.
Speakers:
Tammy Wong, Rainbow Chinese
Melissa Borgman, Cafe Marguerite
